We provide terminals at the same low prices that ODoF Merchant obtains them, essentially offering them at wholesale cost. Our company doesn’t profit from the terminal sales themselves; in fact, we incur a $200 loss with each terminal.

This is because we recognize that acquiring equipment can be a significant barrier for many practices, and we aim to alleviate this by offering the entry-level Terminal at no cost. Additionally, if you’re interested in a modern Smart Terminal, you can apply the $200 discount to receive a 32-48% reduction from the already low wholesale prices.

To purchase an Elavon Payment Terminal, you first need to create a free Elavon account with us. After registration, you can order any terminal and additional equipment directly at any time.

Unlike many other credit card processors that impose monthly fees or leasing charges, ODoF Merchant Services allows you to use the Smart Terminal without such costs. You can start with a basic Elavon Desk 3500 for free, or opt for a modern smart terminal at a significantly discounted wholesale price. The only fees you pay are transactional, based on our clear Interchange Plus pricing model.

Elavon Terminals are equipped to handle various forms of payment including credit and debit cards through tap, chip & PIN, and major card brands like Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. They also support mobile wallets like Google Pay and Apple Pay. Manual card entry and invoice processing are also possible through the Smart Terminal.

Elavon employs Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with 256-bit keys to secure all merchant and cardholder data. To comply with PCI standards, all sensitive information processed through the card readers, including names, card numbers, expiry dates, and addresses (for AVS), is encrypted and stored securely.

All of our terminals are HIPAA-compliant, extremely important for any medical practices.

While renting a credit card reader might initially seem cost-effective, the associated monthly fees over the contract’s duration can accumulate significantly.

Therefore, we recommend purchasing the equipment outright to avoid these extra costs, unless you are unsure about the POS choices and want to test it first before committing to a purchase.

The POYNT Smart Terminal and all of our POS are standalone devices that come preloaded with the Elavon POS application and have a built-in receipt printer. You only need a Wi-Fi connection to begin processing payments.

All POS devices are final purchase and  backed by a limited 1-year warranty for any defective swap/support.  After 1 year,  it is on a case by case basis.
